psalng of adam - heaven and a tree

Verse 1:

I’ve waited so long for it all to come together,

The sunshine with the night,

My left side with my right,

My heart pushes blood toward the outside,

Just to draw it all back in, where does it all begin?

Now listen very closely, because even with no words,

There are signs to be heard.

Why do you call that by another name, can’t you see that it’s all the same, can’t you see that it’s all the same?

Chorus 1

My mistress, she came from my side, Her name is Eve, but it’s like that to deceive.

When you look outside for what’s within, you go without, you get locked in,

and that’s where I’ve been.

Verse 2:

And that’s where I have been, living one way or the other,

Believing that is wrong, and this must make me strong.

There’s blood upon my door, and death is passing by,

But soon it will come around as long as I must try,

As long as I must try, then I don’t belong,

Deep inside my home, cause there, there is no wrong

So for what would you have to fight,

unless you’d want to be, thrown out from the place, where there’s heaven and a tree.

Chorus 2:

My mistress she came from my side, Her name is Eve, but it’s written like that to deceive,

When I was one, I was two, so how can she just come from me?

Bridge:

When everything is gone, there’s one that will remain, the truth beyond the word,

Where the mind becomes insane.

And after all the pain, we will surely say, thank God for this day, thank God for this day

Chorus 3:

My mistress she came from my side, her name is Eve, and she is the half of my whole,

If you think she revolves around my man, you’ve got to give up that mind control.

My mistress, she came from my side, Her name is Eve, but it’s like that to deceive.

When you look outside for what’s within, you go without, you get locked in,

and that’s where I’ve been and now’s the time for me, to get back to the tree, where heaven lives again, cause my Eve is back in me.
